The problem is a one-dimensional view of the company: focusing solely on "the bottom line". I have a heavy burden to articulate the need for multi-facetted business even at my own employer. I don't think *anyone* is listening. But I believe the few who will might have a chance at success.
And Linux is a big piece of the argument. -- R;
