Neither am I saying that Tivoli Systems Automation for Linux is required. :-) Rather, I was just trying to illustrate that the solution requires a different class of applications specifically targeted to this need - that it isn't built into Linux. SAfLi is a commercial offering in that space, if someone needs that level of function and support. The open source options may fit the bill as well.
