a license manager, even though there is no charge for the license.
This tends to make Ned unavailable in precisely the situations where
it would be most useful.
I think UTS Global fixed that, although I won't swear to it. Even if
they didn't, you can run the manager on the local box, and as long as
loopback TCP is working you will be fine.
