No, I haven't. I would say that the appearance of
/sys/bus/ccw/drivers/3270 means that you're all set as far as kernel
driver support.

Mark:
Yes, we are tired of having to use the HMC to interact with the HMC.
We are looking at another approach using the HMC via an HTTP server
under
OS2 running in the HMC server.
But this approach has captured my imagination so I'd like to explore it.
I checked out the Web Site's "how-to" and I see a couple of scary tasks.
For instance, if I re-do the kernel to enable 3270 console support, what
would that do to my support license.
May be 3270 is already enable, I found the following in my SuSE SLES 9
system:
==============================================
/dev/3270
/dev/3270/ttycons
/dev/3270/tub
/dev/3270/tubcons
/sys/bus/ccw/drivers/3270
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.3/URI/tn3270.pm
===============================================
have you or someone you know, set up this service on a SuSE SLES-9?
