Yes, we are tired of having to use the HMC to interact with the HMC.
We are looking at another approach using the HMC via an HTTP server under
OS2 running in the HMC server.
But this approach has captured my imagination so I'd like to explore it.
I checked out the Web Site's "how-to" and I see a couple of scary tasks.
For instance, if I re-do the kernel to enable 3270 console support, what
would that do to my support license.
May be 3270 is already enable, I found the following in my SuSE SLES 9
system:

As it was pointed out to me, I need to mention that I am running zLinux
under LPAR and not zVM. I use the HMC console as a zLinux Master Console
and that is where my special keys problems reside. If I was to have a
true/real/physical 3270 Master Console attached to the zLinux LPAR, can
I then use NED and issue zLinux commands?
