We've got to copy data off a snap server to a Linux guest. Running on VSWITCH under z/VM 5.2 (faster than guest lan - we tried that too) with the server located very close on the network, we are getting about 4G an hour and need to copy 111G. Not good!
This is a sles8 server. The snap server is an appliance thing, so not really sure what o/s is in there, probably something linux like. Mount command looks like this: 10.xx.1.94:/SHARE1 on /snap1 type nfs (rw,nfsvers=3,rsize=4096,wsize=4096,hard,lock,addr=10.xx.1.94) Any suggestions?
