Turn read and write size up to at least 32K.  That will help a lot.
And make sure you're doing the TCP flavor of NFS rather than the UDP
(version 3 could be either); that also generally helps.

Also, there's no real point in obfuscating your network address
there, since it's in 10/8, which is RFC1918 space, so it's not
publically routed anyway, so none of us could reach it unless we were
also on your network to start with.
