You are indeed quite correct Mark. When I suggested to a Slackware
representative at a LinuxWorld Expo gathering, about the same time
that IBM was starting to invest rather heavily in Linux on Z, call it
about 7 years ago now, the response was non-committal.

I mean he seemed interested, but pointed out that the software came
with source code so if I wanted to do the hard work, they would
support and probably sanction the efforts. On that subject that's as
far as I'll go.
