I have had other customers use the Oracle Statspack tool for performance 
monitoring on SLES for non ZSeries platforms.  Statspack is included with the 
Oracle DB so I assume it is available for ZSeries.  If you have access to 
Oracle Metalink then do a search on "statspack" for more details.
