Let's take the gory debugging process offlist and report back when we have an answer. We don't need to clutter the list with the back and forth. > Ps. Must my VSWITCH be defined as VLAN-Unaware or VLAN-Aware. The VLAN awareness setting affects only ports that must pass traffic from multiple VLANs. Unless you have a compelling reason to do so (and the guest is prepared to deal with it), ports attached to guest systems should be VLAN-unaware access ports only, just like with a real switch. Nothing you've said so far indicates that the guest has any compelling reason to need access to multiple VLANs or is set up to deal with it if it does, so you should define the ports the guests attach as VLAN-Unaware. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For more information on Linux on System z, visit http://wiki.linuxvm.org/
