Subject: Re: [linux-delhi] Samba configuration

Yup, done updatedb and was able to locate STATUS..LCK in /etc.
Sorry that should have been /var/lock/samba/
I don't think I am running these services thru inetd, since I am
starting samba manually, how do i make it auto start when I bring up the
server?
I even did touch STATUS..LCK, didn't help
I am able to c the server on the Network Neighbourhood and the nmbd and
smbd services are starting ok. The shares I have created are not
accessible , typically the home directoty (for starting).
I am at wits end.
pls help

Thanx and regards,
sanvir
