    Well that really made things happen. It would not even dial any which
way. However after playing around all afternoon, I decided I better put
things back the way they should be and left your suggestion installed, and
low and behold, the darn thing actually works. I can now boot the machine
and not worry about upsetting the better half :)) and I have dial on demand
throughout the small network.

Thanks guys for the hints and knowledge. Think I will go away for a day or
two and figure out what I did so that I understand it. Thanks again to you
