GTK is a C/C++ toolkit, not a language. Perhaps we should wait until code is
available (a few weeks) before we worry about porting efforts? What will the
status of QT 2.0 be in a few weeks? I don't know either, that's my point.

I'd like to see some code and play with it before I start forming opinions.
