You may find ax25-utils-2.1.42a.tar.gz in ftp://ring.aist.go.jp . I
downloaded the one I am using from there. It compiles swell with
2.0.35 and later, both in Slackware 3.3 and RedHat 4.2, both using
kernel 2.0.36. You may find the latest kernel in
ftp://sunsite.unc.edu, and my reccomendation is 2.0.36, the one I am
using now. I still have not switched to libc6, as I am not clear of
the consequences.
Wonder if someone could enlighten us in the pros and cons of libc6.
I need it.
When you ftp 'ring', you may do a 'site index' command, it will find
whatever you look for, if it is available there, of course. It is
helpful, because it save a lot of browsing time, and seems a fairly
fast server from here, where the fast are slow and the slow
unreachable.

In 2.1.42 and later, 'axattach' was replaced by 'kissattach'.
The latest I found in english is v. 1.5, October 1997, and have seen
no fresher one.

Hope you find the above useful.

It has finally worked for me....
