Nice of Eric to take credit for the use of SGML which predates his
involvement with the LDP by some years. What Eric added was an indexing
hack to the LinuxDoc DTD, nothing else. The LDP has had a policy insisting
that HOWTO document be marked up against the LinuxDoc DTD for some years
now. I'm sure you're confusing what he said with what you think he said.

Did Eric also tell you how/why he didn't include non-mainstream documents
like the AX25 and HAM HOWTO's in his effort? :) Heck, the IPX-HOWTO didn't
even make it.
