Please note all, that all I'm proposing is the first stage in a fresh approach. I believe there *is* room for another amateur radio related HOWTO document .. but that won't happen until something has been found to do with the HAM-HOWTO. To that end, Joop and I will collaborate on a project to produce an online, web based, database/catalog of amateur radio software that will replace the HAM-HOWTO. We can then collectively talk about what might constitute a more meaningful AMATEUR-RADIO-HOWTO is a the Linux sense. Terry
