And I thought there's something wrong with my mailreader. In my 
opinion, it is a matter of taste but sometimes you'r prefer replying 
only to the mail's author. In such cases, one has to manually pick 
up the author's address in the address field of the reply.
But on the other hand, it will avoid getting all the answers twice 
(one sent to the list, the other one sent to the author's address) 
and is therefore not bad.
