Well, I don't think Lynx would be the front-end of choice for speed!
It's a nifty program, but navigating around is not particularly quick.

Sounds like they are very strict about logging there. I don't remember
anything in our Australian regulations which requires me to log my
transmissions. I do so only for interest's sake. I don't bother logging
when I talk to my mate 20km away though, or any local VHF contacts even.
