Just for the record, 99% of things you can do with Hebrew support on a Linux (or other Unix) machine doesn't need you to become root. Plain users can use setxkbmap, install "vim","bidiv","fribidi" or whatever in their home directory, or even put a new version of KDE in your home directory if you're so inclined (and have a decent quota, unlike Technion students). So this is (yet again) not a valid excuse. Some of you guys (and especially Moshe) don't want to be able to read or write Hebrew. If that is the case, fine, but don't go around telling others how difficult it is and why they should avoid Hebrew, when in fact it's all quite doable. -- Nadav Har'El | Saturday, May 18 2002, 8 Sivan 5762 [EMAIL PROTECTED] |----------------------------------------- Phone: +972-53-245868, ICQ 13349191 |In Fortran, God is real unless declared http://nadav.harel.org.il |an integer. ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
