I think that syntax/context issues are inherently different from the
problem domain of a spell-checker, in any language. A spell-checker is
not supposed to correct your <insert your favourite language here>,
only your spelling.

NB: the above paragraph intentionally includes a correctly spelled
word that your default spell-checker will catch it its default
configuration. It's a documented feature, not a bug, and the feature
is another issue of spell-checkers in general.
