because sadly in Israel we have a monopoly on the matter. a company called Yeda has the sole right to suck all the fun out of using a mack. that includes very high prices, problematic service, macs are never sold from stock, only by preorder (and shipment can take a few weeks to a couple of months). They also have not promoted macs in the media for probably a decade. In fact it's unclear how they are still in business since it feels like all they are doing is try to kill the Mac market in this country and diss every mac addict. to demonstrate, when Jobs pulled the iMac out of the bag and in the following year the mac market share went from 3% to 10% in the US, In Israel they dropped from 1% to 0.3%. even lower today, I am sure. -- Original sinner Ira Abramov http://ira.abramov.org/email/ ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
