The fact that you are using Linux should put to rest your worries. There
is no point.. Linux is safe from them. People have had no threat from
Linux viruses. Many for years.. only thing that can go wrong is that you
unknowingly forward some attachment or executable which is infected.
But, in any case, there is no way the VIRUS will do it.
Rest assured, my employer's Linux server works without any shield and it
is also an internet server. To tension mat lo.
