I do. I have an i810, with a crystal CS-4299 audio codec
(basically an ac-97 compliant codec). Ofcourse RH6.2 didn't detect either.
You have to install the intel's XFCom X server, and for sound you use ALSA
drivers available from http://www.alsa-project.org.
