the man page says --force is the same as --replacepkgs or --replacefiles. I
already did a -Uvh --force sendmail*.rpm. Besides trying with --replacepkgs
gives an error message saying --replacepkgs only available when installing
packages.

I did, here is the log before I went online:

There was an entry in mqueue for this mail.


here is the log after I went online:

I even got this mail in my yahoo account.
