Reinstall mutt then - go back to a stable version like 1.0pre3us (on the
redhat cd).  Or download the tar file from ftp.mutt.org/pub/mutt/devel and
compile it yourself (./configure, make install)

Check your muttrc - use mine (the one with sendmail -oi -t -oem etc)
