Really funny. If sendmail is running, I think its worth trying to talk
smtp directly on port 25 using a telnet. I normally do this telnet
[localhost|my_smtp_host] 25, and try sending a mail directly by hand,
talking smtp to sendmail. It invariably points you in the right direction
about what's going wrong..
