Giving the wrong advice is worse than giving none at all. I thought you
would have learnt from the thread a couple of weeks back that re-installing
Linux is *not* the correct solution to almost any problem on Linux
- unlike the "other" operating system where that probably would be the
only solution :-)
So if you see a problem on the LIH list, and your *only* solution is
"Reinstall Linux", please don't post that response immediately. Watch
the list for alternate solutions from other users, and update your
information base so that the next time someone comes up a similar
question, you can give the right suggestion.
