Hi All, I a newbie in Linux. I always trash my system when I am tinkering my system & always have to start the system configuration from scratch and not from the point of failure. I would like to add a second HDD with a copy of Linux on it. I would like to have a script that would make a copy a given disk to the other, and I mean system configurations & all. This way I could restore Linux system to its previous state without having to reinstall Linux. Request pointers to How-Tos & other resources in addition to your comments on how to go about it & pitfalls, if any. Also, how to adapt this idea to mirroring to another server on the network & restoring from it? Thaths. Sanjay. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The LIH mailing list archives are available at: http://lists.linux-india.org/cgi-bin/wilma/linux-india-help
