Hi All,
No This Time It,s Not my problem but my Friend's.
He had This Dual boot $doze + RHL 6.2. He used to take backup of his entire
precious $Doze data on the linux Partition for the simple reason => "Just In
Case, If Any Thing Goes Wrong With $Doze" and that obvious thing happened on
30
July and he formatted his hard disk to remove the whole junk and
re-installed
his $Doze again but one big thing went wrong.
LILO is Gone!!!
Now the problem is that he does not know where the Linux Partition is viz.
hda2,
hda3 or even hdb1,2,3 etc. Why???
Because I installed RHL for him and I forgot on which I installed Linux.
More
over He knows NOTHING about Linux except how to play XMMS.
So please help me help him install LILO without erasing anything from that
partition because all his data is on that partition. All he has got with him
is
PCQ CD of June- RHL.
