Sorry to disturb u again. I tried out passing both root and init options to
the kernel . I tried :
LILO : linux root=/dev/hda5 init=/dev/hdaX where X= 1,2..
But still I am getting the same error message i.e
Warning : Unable to open initial console.
Kernel panic: No init found . Try passing init=option to the kernel
Is there any other way out.
