Hi,
I have installed RED HAT Linux 6.2 frm PCQ CD, on a PIII with intel 810
board with onboard soundcard, I'm not able to configure sound.
When asked the same to PCQ, they said a kernel upgrade will do and provided
the update on Aug2k CD but that only solved the X windows problem that I had
before.
Now if I try to configure sound by logging in to root and type setup and
sound configuration, LINUX recognises the sndcard and says it found the card
but then it terminates saying that the card is not supported. I guess the
drivers for it is missing.
Can any one help me in this regard?
