I have installed Cyrus on debian. The packages installed are:
ii cyrus-admin 1.5.19-2 Cyrus mail system
(administration tool)
ii cyrus-common 1.5.19-2 Cyrus mail system
(common files)
ii cyrus-imapd 1.5.19-2 Cyrus mail system (IMAP
support)
ii cyrus-pop3d 1.5.19-2 Cyrus mail system (POP3
support)
Now I can create users using "cyradm". But after creating users, I want
to assign passwords to those account.
"http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Cyrus-IMAP-7.html" suggests using "
saslpasswd " for assigning passwords but I see that sasl is not
installed on this box. Moveover sasl is not available on stable release
of Debian.
I shall be grateful if somebody could guide me here how to proceed.
