hi.
        i have compaw presario 7470 with integrated PCI sound IC ES1989s.I
have not been able to configur sound on my linux box... sndconfig fails
miserably. I am running red hat 6.2.pnpdump dumps teh file wihout any
information. Can somebody help me 'bout that... i think if somebody can
send me his /her /etc/isapnp.conf and /etc/conf.modules to start with
