hello,
  i want to know if it is advisable or if at all possible to change the
mtu parameter of ppp online i.e when already pppd is running.
  What i have in mind is some utility which will read the packet sent(
resent) statistcs and use it to arrive at an optimised value of mtu.
  Any pointers will be gladly appreciated
