My home line sleeps like a pig as and when it wants. There is absolutely no bytes coming in and going out for minutes. And then it restores or I reconnect. My usual work around is to keep pinging a site. Anyway this is just out of curiosity... I have almost dumped using home line.... I am not been able to pull my mails for last three weeks. I always get a pop3 timeout. Bye Shridhar ---------------------------------------------- LIH is all for free speech. But it was created for a purpose. Violations of the rules of this list will result in stern action.
