Hi

I agree that linuxconf might screw up but isn't it easy? It helps to maintain
consistancy and avoids any human error that may happen while updating configuration
files.

Also I haven't experienced linuxcof behaving irrationally unless you fiddle with it
manually. I really don't understand how linuxconf can screw up if everything is done
from linuxconf?

Please enlighten me.

Ah, that reminds me, once I ran into problem where my rpm database got corrupted due
to power crash. I was left helpless and I reinstalled. There were no errors left
with fsck and still rpm complained for corrupted database. Any hints if that
disaster reoccurs?

Also I plan to host a simple database at my home machine. Any idea how can I install
raiserfs on RHL6.2.
