netscape doesn't compress anything. i tried to look into the netscape
folders thr' a binary editor, and i found that when u move a mail to
Trash, it stil remains in the same folder. only when u compact it, is it
actualy moved. i may b wrong, or this might hav changed with netscape
versions. my observations were on 4.61.
