I am using bgl.vsnl.net.in only to deliver the mails for non-lical users.
I have used bgl.vsnl.net.in just as an example.
My requirement is to have a local mailserver in my office location. Our mail
server with the actual domain is in US (I have used bgl.vsnl.net.in as
example). I do not want the mails sent by one local user to another local
user ([EMAIL PROTECTED] to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) to go all the way to
the remote mail server (bgl.vsnl.net.in).
We also have some users in US. I want only the mails sent to them to go the
the remote mail server (bgl.vsnl.net.in).
I tried setting this using Postfix which works fine. On Postfix I have just
created entries for local users (manoj and venkat) in virtual file. This is
making the mails from these users to each other handle by Postfix locally.
Any other mail addressed to [EMAIL PROTECTED] is sent to
bgl.vsnl.net.in Mail server because i have created the 2nd MX record for it.
I also want to use filters to block any attachments. I have Inflex filter
with me which is works fine on sendmail.
Is there any similar filter available for Postfix, also how to set this kind
of setup using sendmail.
Though I have managed configured this going through various documentations i
am still relatively new to Mail servers.
Thanks and bye
