I belive very few know about the book
"The complete reference C++" by Herbert Schidlt.

This is as well a very good book. This explains in great detail the C subset of
C++; In the first part of the book. Later he explains 95% of the C++ language
elaborating every aspect of it supported by suitable examples.

Moreover it is not specific to any implementation of C/C++.
It as well does take into consideration the ANSI standards.

A must read book for beginners.

Sanjay.
