this may not be a perfect solution, but its the way i do it. if nothing
special is on ur desktop, just delete .kde directory in your home, on
restarting kde it will again create the config files, and there wont be
problems any more.

Subject: [LIH] Kde panel hangs

hello,
I have a peculiar problem with kde which i am using on my desktop at home.
The panel of my kde desktop [user mode] does not allow me to move
applets, remove them etc. I am able to access the various desktops, etc. Once
I
try to remove the applets, the panel hangs and I am unable to use it. I do
not face this problem when I log in as root.

I also have another problem. I am unable to access history on my netscape
navigator ver 4.72.

I am running RH6.2,kernel 2.2.14,Kde 2.0 on a PII-350 machine. I would
appreciate help in solving the above. Also, pointers to doc files to these
problems will be useful.
