if its the Kpanel which is hanging, why not kill and restart it. I used
have problems with kfmrootwindow process. Sometimes it would just freeze (
mostly when netscape crashed ;). So I kill it, moreover since it is not
very useful, i dont restart it ( i lose the right-click pop-up menu though
)
