If and only if you had installed linux after installing windoze. The linux 
installer would have picked up the partition types and made an entry for the 
windoze partition automatically in /etc/lilo.conf. But if you installed linux 
first, then I don't think a plain lilo at the prompt will work. 

Here you're also assuming that the person is doing a windows reinstall, not a 
new install... (The partition might have been made after installing linux - 
in which case a simple lilo won't work...)
