Well that's a good suggestion but with KDE2 architecture, you can not locate the
process itself. It's distributed to ioslaves and looking at process, you can not
tell which process is doing what.
If I do a 'ps -u nandu', all I get is buch of kdeinit. Still n number of KDE
applications running.
Don't know exactly about kpanel. Never paid specific attention to that but in
general that trick is difficult with KDE2.
