This fullfills the above requirements :
Keys:
<- or -> seek backward/forward 10 seconds
up or down seek backward/forward 1 minute
p or SPACE pause movie (press any key to continue)
q or ESC stop playing and quit program
+ or - adjust audio delay by +/- 0.1 second
o toggle OSD: none / seek / seek+timer
* or / increase or decrease volume
m use mixer master or pcm channel
However the other problem still remains. The full screen mode is not
visible on entire screen. Xterm windows is also visible on screen. How to
run mplayer so that the xterm window is not visible and I get true full
screen.
