Opps! thats 256 Mb only.
Ok, The whole story is like this.
At Nagpur DOT server, NT guys were trying to install web based mail service
for last 3 months using Mdaemon, but failed. Finally they decided to switch
to Linux and called me.
The hardware offered is
Pentium 1Gz, 256 Mb (512 also possible), 2X9.1 SCSI disk and a 12 Mb
(shared) pipe.
They want web based mail service for about 20000 user (Maximum 1000
connection at one time) with radius authentication with existing alpha
server running Unix 4.0.
The Web site is being redesigned by none other than Tariq.
In addition to this they also want web based telephone directory search.
Finally apart from our fees, I am trying to extract around 2Gb of disk space
for a Mirror (Most probably Red Hat), which will have a fat 12 Mb pipe on B
node of DOT.
I need some help on,
1. Choosing right Web based mail package, IMP looks better.
2. Radius authentication with Unix 4.0 Alpha Server.
3. And whether, hard ware will sustain the load.
