I'd almost identical experience on my 810 system while installing from the
June 2K PCQ CD. I tried out the FEB 01 update and managed to load X, but the
system is very sluggish and X takes ages to load- hence stopped using it.
MAY 01 X-server didn't work for me too: got the same message
Fatal error: No Screen found!
I've posted my query on the list but so far I've received any response. Do
let me know if you manage to solve your problem.
