I don't know about the other cards but on my i810 the playback with sdl is
good but not true full screen. If I am given an option I will go for xv.
Only one good thing with sdl is pressing 'f' u can switch between full
screen mode and normal mode which is not possible with xv driver.

Performance does depend on a combination of factors CPU, RAM, VRAM and
graphics card.

'dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/dev/null'
