Ahoy , Mukund !
Sorry boss ! It all went "Bumper" over my head....
If the distros are just "wrappers" for copying files, would not
it be easy to develop just a File-Copy utility with a bare-bone
"kernel" present as a base OS ?
Please ignore my "dumbness"; but I was thinking, diff linux Distros
are like diff coffee blends with diff proprietery manufacturing
processes, but with the same "caffene" ( read "kernel" ) contents !
( And with the same function of reducing the sale of "Diazipam" ) ;-)
In short, Mukund, kindly elaborate .

N.B.(OT) : It reminds me of an old discusion in a thread on the same
line btw Raju-Biju (Chako) & others. But being an in-active
member of LIH that time, I was very much afraid to declare
my ignorance.
By the way, Raju seems to be lost his interest in tech-Savvy
discusions of LIH, since Biju left the asst moderator post after
his marriage, to join
BLUG* ;-)
I was very much enjoying & gaining lots of linux basics from
their friendly "flame wars" ! Suresh was also much-much active
that time !!
