Not that I remember of. But anyway MS-proxy can't be subject of my pondering..

What really I would like to ask is, if he is planning to move to linux on 
desktop, is he plannnig to keep windows on servers?

Yeh to pooree ultee gangaa hain. I would have expected anybody to install linux 
first on servers and then on desktops..

So my advice, switch to squid...Damn simple to configure.. I even made it work 
over dial-up but not worth of it...
