I am getting a choice of braodband access in the sense that I am being offered DSL (Dishnet) and Cable access (Hathway). both are costing *almost* the same as far as monthly/yearly dues, though if I opt for a personal cable modem, I will have to pay a little more (~8000 bucks) for the modem.
I want to know if someone has used these services. Which one would be preferable. What should I look out for ? What are the queries I need to get answered from both these chaps ? I already asked if they are blocking port 80 as I will get a static IP and would like to host my site myself.
